The Olympus Mountain

The highest peak of Cyprus – the Olympus Mountain with its altitude of 1951 metres above the sea level is also the purpose of the Cypriot Safari. In summer it functions as a place of tourist pilgrimage and in winter it is a track for ski downhill rides. You should climb the mountain to its altitude of al least 2,000 metres to appreciate the azure sea, the rocky gulfs, and the view over  the Troodos slopes from this natural vantage point.
